These live recordings from Wuhan Conservatory of Music in Central China, June 2000, feature a blazing performance of Liszt´s Dante Sonata by 22-year old Chen Yuan, a young woman whose sound belies the fact that her hand barely stretches the octave, followed by a Chopin F minor fantasy Op. 49 by the 16 year-old Qian Chen, a young man still in high school wat the time of this performance. |
