This CD was recorded in its entirety one July evening in 2002. Misha needed a demo, and so I took him to our small recital room in the fortress Academy in Novi Sad,and we did the whole thing at one go. The next day, after a 16-hour flurry of editing that I did on my home computer, the CD was done. This demo resulted in Misha being invited to make his American debut in Miami, where he has now been accepted on full scholarship at the University of Miami. He is still enrolled at the Art Academy of Novi Sad, in my class, where he will finish his undergraduate studies... |

Ratimir Martinovich has a special affinity to Bach. His attention to the shaping of all contrapuntal parts, not only maintaining awareness of them but having each one of them speak in an articulated, expressive way, makes this recording of the Bach Goldberg Variations one ofthe best ever. |

Here is the conclusion of the Goldberg Variations plus an unedited take from an earlier recording session in the same hall. Ratimir was just trying the piano and played this Moment Musical of Rachmaninoff (number 2 in B flat minor). Luckily the tape was running and we offer it here for your enjoyment... |
