I originally intended this piece as a woodwind quintet and it may be played as such but it proved very good with strings. This work is divided into three movements which may be broadly categorized as: I majorII minor and III atonal though there is a recapitulation at the end of mvt. III returning to a major key |

Selections of Longefellow's poem Evangeline set to music. This was an actually an English project of mine; the production quality lacks in parts due to my procrastination and hurrying to finish this :) The introduction seems somewhat ambient with an unchanging tonic and variation occus in the upper octaves. With this basis, I improvise a bit with the pennywhistle followed by the start of the Longfellow selection. The second part consists of an organ piece, with the Longfellow text used intermittently throughout. The third and final part opens with electronic "noise" and a guitar, though I do not know how to classify this piece. |
Credits: Voice credits to myself and Tyler Grisham. The music is an assortment of pieces I have written and new music written specifically for this. |

The organ actually represents two soprano and two alto parts. The use of fourths and fiths seems to convey a renaissance style. When this is actually performed, I shall upload that version. |
