BROTHER HOWE
Welcome to Rock 'n Roll Country. So glad you came.
I heard the term Alternative Country and I thought that must be the coolest music, because I had an idea in my mind of what that would sound like. But for the most part, the term referred to songs that were boring to listen to. Slow and slightly depressing. Nobody did music the way I heard it in my head, the way I wanted it to be, mixing the best elements of punk and country. Country Punk. I like fast songs. I like high energy. I like Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash. I like punk . I like country. I like rock and roll.

Okay, so this one DOESN'T rock hard, fast and loose. It's an acoustic ballad about a, well, drunken cowboy. This is what my wife said I looked like when I was stumbling through our house one day. I was not drunk. | MP3.com CD: Rock 'N Roll Country (mp3's) - buy it!

Loud and fast. Scratchy, distorted guitars. Pick slides and screams. This is one of the first three songs I ever wrote and it is still one of my favorites to play. We usually save this one for last. | MP3.com CD: Rock 'N Roll Country (mp3's) - buy it!
