acoustic performance of the Stranglers gitarist Baz Warne. Heart tearing and yet such a simple song. It shows off the immense talent Baz Warne has mastered on guitar and vocals.Baz himself says: "I wrote Where've you Been? pretty quickly after i read
in a paper one day about someone who'd come back home
after having been missing for 3 years.......did'nt
phone or write , and everyone thought he was
dead....he said he just wanted to do some stuff with
his life, he'd done a few things , and now he wanted
to come home.....simple as that.....and could'nt see
what all the fuss was about ! Funny what goes on in
people's minds isn't it?" |

there are always a lot of
homeless people in London ( as there are elsewhere) ,
but this one particular occassion we were there and
there just seemed to be so many more than
usual.....the mixed emotions you feel when you see
them can be unsettling......very sad.
