Inspired by the homes, characters and culture of the East Side neighborhood in Charleston, SC, this is a fictionalized tale about a girl who is wronged and a voodoo practictioner who eliminates her problem in the best way he knows how. |

I wrote this song during my brief tenure as a real estate agent. I often say that this song is the best thing to come of that flawed, misguided "career" choice. Despite including a number of the "tricks of the trade" used by real estate agents to get people to view houses and to keep them inside once they're there, in actuality this song is a plea to a wayward lover to return to the house that had been their home for so long. |

This is one of the few songs I have recorded with a full band. |
