Actually, this was inspired by Elvin Jones.
I've always liked the 12/8 afro cuban feel, and this song was written with that style in mind. Two trombones overdubbed with guitar, bass, drums and synth. Nice guitar solo by John Pondel (Hi John) |

The song refers to artist Paul Klee, in case anyone's interested. More of a "funk swing" than Acid Jazz. Good solos by unsung hero Jim Snodgrass on Tenor, and guitarist Grant Geissman |

Hard funk tune. The wild card is the wild trumpet solo by Ron Robbins - Ron are you out there? Send me a note to dougwintz@hotmail.com Good solos all around from the rest of the band. |
