C. Rex was formed by Todd Moore. The songs are a
variety of music styles: alternative rock, rock,
blues and alternative country. The players on the
CD are some of the best that Austin has to offer.
Maryann Price, inducted into the Texas Music Hall
of Fame this year, helps out on vocals on
"Caroline" and "That Ain't Me". Riley Osborne,
one of Austin's best keyboardists, plays on "Daisy"
and "Mama". Kris Van Robbins, formerly of Color,
plays Tito Puente's congas on "Unemployed". Jon
Bessent, designer/engineer for Austone Electronics,
provides a variety of guitar tones on all songs
and also plays pedal steel on "Caroline" and
"That Ain't Me".
Drummer Curt Sellmer, played drums with Todd for
a year in The Freebooters in Austin before joining
C. Rex. Button accordionist, B.P. Serrato,
