. . . b3nt as in twisted, warped, distorted, manipulated .
. . m3dia as in noise, sound, music, words, images . . . 0m as
in the vast drone of the universe insinuating itself into the
subconcious . . .
. . . a decade or more of casually recorded aural phenomena:
band rehearsals, late night technological burnout, odd and sometimes
unsettling voices half-heard from within half-sleep, malfunctioning
equipment and upsetting revelations, yeilding an obscure artifact
wrought from the detritus of oxides, subjected to the whims of
digital manipulation, exposed to elemental forces, yearning for
transcendance - in a moment of dark opportunity, something without
form attaches itself to an errant radio wave - and a madman decodes
revelations hidden deep within the static of a cheap transistor
radio.
