The music on this page was written and recorded
back in the late 70s but...Hey! Wait a
minute. Where'd the music get off to?? Well, you
see, it's like this. We moved it someplace
better. Yes, despite having a fairly successful
run here at mp3c, it's gotten to be just a little too
nutty for our tastes.
So, we invite you to sample
some vintage material from a tight and talented
ensemble that regularly fired up audiences on the
Detroit club scene two decades ago. But in order to
do that you'll have to click the banner above. That's right,
our new exclusive home, notwithstanding the little
flaming comedy turd on this page that we're leaving
behind, is Artistlaunch.com, a
truly exciting and innovative place. Visit us there and
check the place out, too. You'll find a lot to like.
What are some of
Air Condo's members doing today?

This legendary interlude between a Rick James tune and the disco classic Shake Your Groove Thing occurred on the last night of a brutal 3 week engagement at the dreaded Pier 500 in Wyandotte, Michigan, a nice enough town nowadays but pretty much the armpit of the downriver Detroit area back in the 70s. As for the Pier, well, let's not go there...literally. Our good friend and T-shirt manufacturer, Tony Spampinato, was sitting in on the drums and after ending You and I in our own inimitable fashion, 5 minutes of madcap banter culminating in the famed pizza commercial ensued. |
