Welcome to MP3.com's Amethyst MP3 page. Amethyst is a Christian Heavy Metal band formed in 1985 by Lead Vocalist / Guitarist Mark Fekete. From 1985 - 1989 they had a very 80s Metal style comparable to bands such as Iron Maiden, Dokken, Metallica & Ratt. With a very melodic Vocal delivery and Guitar work comparable to thet of Ozzy's Randy Rhoads. Throughout the years Amethyst has gotten more and more creative and much heavier. Still keeping their Iron Maiden influence and adding on the styles of Metal bands like Megadeth, Sepultura, Korn, Pantera and System of a Down.

| This song is an Iron Maiden clone! It has a very Maidenish - Guitar Harmony groove going on. The guitar solo sounds like something Randy Rhoads would've done on a good day! Vocally, it's Bruce Dickenson Meets Ozzy! It's an awesome song! |

| This song has a really good Doom Metal feel to it. Similar to older Black Sabbath meets Older Metallica. The message in the song is 100% glorifying to God. |
