The Original FRENCH started in early 1993 by Matt 'Blackie' French. He began self producing albums such as the debut 'Live to Rock/Rock to Live' and follow-ups 'Too Hot to Handle' (1995) and 'Call of the Beast' (1996). In 1997 he was joined by childhood friends Brett Levac (guitar) and Jason Fetterly (drums).
