Ebb is Chris Elliott and Tim Beck. Ebb is a rapid-fire-one-take-to-print duo. It's all instinct, no second chances. Written and recorded in one shot. Pure music....warts and all. Guerilla style!
Ebb is the nucleus of a creative partnership that spans various cover bands and their session work as "The Rhythm Kings" throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Chris and Tim have been working together since 1995. While they stay busy working cover gigs in several project bands (and laying tha fat down as drum and bass duo for hire: "The Rhythm Kings")...Ebb is their true calling.
The songs are written and recorded in one session. Usually, Tim and Chris on guitar and Tim on vocals around one or , at most, 2 mikes. The idea is captured real time and one take is all you get. Other tracks are then laid down immediately upon first instincts. It's backwards from the industry....but it's pure and real.
