	We were chillen at Lunatic's crib one night. He played this old ass roots song that had this dude singen "Ja Ja Ja--The Children crying in the Wilderness" He was like "Yo we should sample that shit!" I thought that sounded tight, so I wrote out this verse. I wanted to change it up a little, but he heard it and said I should just leave it. He had this verse from another idea that I thought worked perfect with the song. He was like "Naw dog, I'll write some new shit." I was like "Fuck shat shit yo, plug that other shit in there!" Basically, he ended up convincing me to us my shit, and I convinced him to do his shit. When we played the song live, muthafuckas loved it! We just sang the chorus ourselves since we didn't have the sample yet. Since people vibed off it, we decided to just sing the shit ourselves.

	One day I went over to Lunatic's crib to grab a sac or some shit.We were chillen, watchen home videos of some spot's we played at when he breaks out and says "Oh yeah, before you cut out man, I got somethen' I wanted U to hear. I did it last night with Scal" (Steve Scalfatti). Then he plays me Lie. I made him play it for me like 5 times in a row. At first, I wasn't sure if I liked it or not, then I liked it, then I liked it more, then I loved it. I got a dub and listened to that muthafuka all day that day, played it for everybody! If you don't think it's the shit, just listen to it 5 more times and I bet U change your mind...
