a new song being developed for album #2... about a man remembering and lamenting the 'good old days': the days before the machines, computers and robots, fed up with endless injustice, rebelled and formed their own country, severing all ties and making their own world. the man singing the song cannot bear to live without his machines. |

another of my despair songs, this one from the point of view of two outsider friends.
both trying to rationalise the ills of a misunderstandable, crazy world into their everyday lives.
the radio eq voice is the doubtful voice inside their heads. and, in the end, it prevails, and hope loses out, and the men fade into eternal and true existential despair.
