The band was formed in the winter of 1999 with the
name Tormento in the city of Bahía Blanca,Argentina.
After a long year of rehearsals, the band starts
a long serie of live shows that caught the atention
of Argentinean metal fans.
A couple of years later, after getting a stable
line-up, the band is approached by Furias Records
who offered them the possibility to release their
first full length. First of All, the band participates
in the compilation of Furias Magazine called "THE
HIDDEN CEREMONY" showing their track "HIJOS" to the
public and being well received by all the media dedicated
to metal music in Argentina. It is the when the band
changes their name to DIVE IN MINDS and starts a new
era with their CD "Innocent Victims"
The band now has the line-up:
Alpuin Gustavo-bass,
Bergesio Martin-guitars,
Canales Victor-drums,
Navarro Gustavo-vocals,
Luini Tito guitars.
The clearest influences in Dive in Minds music
are Death, Sentenced, Suffocation, Dark Tranquility,
Atheist, and their personal style can be defined as
agressive death metal with some progressive elements
at the same time. Dive in Minds is a real adrenaline
and virtuosism storm that you can not let pass.
"INNOCENT VICTIMS" is the name of their new CD and
is distributed in all the world by ORION MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT.
To sum up....just "dive in the mind" of this death
metallers of the new millenium.
