2. How Could You?
Mark: Starts with bass, followed by delayed guitar. Kind of gives it a Church kind of vibe. I like when the chorus kicks in and there's a great drum run that reminds me of classic 60s pop.
Jo: Ah yes, got to love the Rickenbacker. The Church sound I think is limited to the lead, the bass actually has a Pixies feel, cute pop, pushed along. |

3. Heaven
Mark: Starts with some wah guitar. Like it. Very heavy guitars in parts of it! Nice backing vocals from Geoff. Darren assures me the "it's getting harder now, it's getting softer now" lyric is not about what it sounds like it might be like!
Jo: Ah yes, this one is very simple but it must work, because it always stuck in my head after gigs. |

4. Fingertips
Mark: A live favourite. The vocals sound very Church, and playing a Rickenbacker helps too, I guess. Good song, the drum machine works well on this one! Nice heavy middle 8.
Jo: I must admit this is my favourite too. I love the big guitar sounds, nice contrast between chorus and verse. A boppy fingertip ear massage. |
