SkunkFest 2003 was our first Fighting Mabus show
in over 2 years and it "Worked Well". Everyone
seemed to dig it. Damian said it was "Epic"!
Thanks D! We played on a dirt stage at about 2:30 in the
afternoon when everyone was making their way
from their tents to the kegs. We had some tech
diff with Jason's guitar but we managed pretty
well. Can't wait to play live again! The album
should be done soon!
Here's an email we got from our New Zealander
friend Desmond Murphy, also known as rEfRaG, regarding our
new LiQiDiET MP3
recorded at Broke Ass Records:
Cheer's nice
That's good stuff "Mabus" I like the way the sounds go here there and
everywhere, I was the bass player in a band a few years back,I can tell your
good at it, must take a bit to suss out a track like that I mean the notes
and timing but to some it comes naturally but still you have to put the
hours in to get it right,
nice one Nick
Keep up the good work

This is actually one of Jason's solo songs where he plays all instruments. Eventually we'll learn it though. |
