I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest in a small town, Astoria, Oregon.
It's the current stop on a long journey started from my hometwon of New Orleans, LA in 1976.
I've played with the best of the best and (unfortunately) some of the best of the worst.
I learned something from all the individuals I worked and played with over these years.
My biggest musical influence has been Jimi Hendrix. I spent three years in military school
in the late sixties studying the man's musical "soul". There's a lot of storytelling here,
if you're interested, I'll email you with some of the highlights. My biggest group was "The Urge".
Yes. we used that name in the early eighties long before the current roster of said groups.
It was a trio with Ed Cassidy of Spirit on drums, Larry "Fuzzy" Knight on bass and me.
We performed originals, most of them were mine and of course, the obligatory "Spirit" tunes.
Ed (or Cass) has a lot of fans as you may know. We always brought the house down with his signature song,
"Mr. Skin". I hope you enjoy my music. It was written with you in mind. You being the classic rock,
heavy metal, funk, blues, Zappa, whatever fan you may be.

The classical beginning alludes to 'something" ominous. The jam is pretty heavy with a driving bass and drum and about four guitar tracks layered in with some thick synth textures |

A blues jam along the lines of Pat Travers.
The beginning is the result of listening to Frank zappa right before we cut the song |
