The Pawnshop is Open!
Thanks for visiting Pawnshop here at mp3.com --
be welcome. With the new addition of "Sugarsweet"
to this page, we at Home Office Records are
pleased to bring you occasional demo recordings as
the band works its way toward the next Pawnshop
album. These aren't finished versions at all;
rather, they give you the listener a unique chance
to participate in the life and growth of the songs,
and in the life and career of the artist behind them.
We welcome your thoughts and comments, and hope you'll
get a kick out of comparing the young acoustic burgeonings
to the final full-band burstings out. If this all
makes your ears happy, take a sec to join
the mailing list so we can let you know
what's up, and when. Upcoming dates for Pawnshop:
- A new season's coming, and so are new dates.
- Visit our Gigometer
for tons of great live music!
Need a destination from here? Try Angels in Particular,

The Big Takeover called this "a low-rent 'Born to Run' that substitutes toy piano for glockenspiel." Works for us. |

Take a glimpse at the artistic process: starting with this song, we'll be rotating new demos on this page every month or so. Restez Tuned, check 'em out, and wait to hear them recorded all the way in their full band versions. **These are guide vocals and demo recordings.** Any resemblance between these informal recordings and the final songs is purely coincidental. |
