Improvised piano music. Most of the tracks you can find here are taken from my "Solo"-CDs.They contain a number of completely improvised piano recordings. Jazz? Call it what you like. No Swing or Boogie-woogie, indeed. Rather mood music with pop and free elements. The piano pieces by Keith Jarrett were an inspiration. Although I of course haven't got his unique qualities, in some of the following tunes his musical spirit is right around the corner.

Another minimalistic work with a continous ostinato. Variations happen by changing between staccato and legato playing.

In 1994, I was asked to compose the music for a fairytale named "The Contrabello", written by Volkmar Mühleis, a german author.
"Ecouter aux nuages" (means as much as "Listening to the clouds") was part of this score. 7 years later, I re-arranged it, emphasizing its poly-rhythmic structure.
