Singer-songwriter Doug Burtchaell is the leader of Texas-based pop rock band, Hax-Blu. The band has performed at Houston-area live music venues since 2000. Their current original style is described as REM meets Jimi Hendrix. Burtchaell also performs his original music as a soloist in some of the more intimate live music venues in the Houston area. He is a writer affiliate of Broadcast Music, Inc. His original songs are registered with Smart Blonde Music, publisher affiliate of BMI. His current work-in-progress is recording and producing his upcoming all-original album. He also devotes time to producing music for other Houston/Galveston-area recording artists.
