Common Rare Deformity began in December, 2000, and lasted until August, 2001. During that period, they played numerous shows(mostly in basements and the occasional barn) and made several demo and live recordings. A few of these recordings appear here. They were dug up and rerecorded and EQ'ed by Lucas Johannes over a year after CRD disbanded, so the songs are not exactly perfect in sound quality.

| Another working title song. Obviously, there is some slide guitar work in this one. In the middle of this song there is a break in which we start playing what is more or less "pretty song" before going back into the all out slidey-goodness that this song embodies. |

| Someone said this song sounds like Fugazi, but I think its too straightforward and simple for that. The title we used for this on our demo was "Pink Yak," which is just stupid, so I changed it to untitled 1. |
