Cea Serin is now looking for a new rhythm section to flesh out its live performance. If you are a bass player or a drummer and interested in playing with Cea Serin, please contact J. Lamm at CeaSerin@aol.com
Cea Serin will be signing for the release of their soon to be released debut album, "The Surface of All Things." The new album will include the Surface of All Things suite, as well as a never before released song and three
re-recorded songs from the past that continue in the current Cea Serin vein. "One of the most exciting and promising metal acts ever to hit these sets of ears! And that's no b.s. folks! 4 excellent pieces that combine progressive metal thrown in with death/black metal snippets. A refreshing affair and great potential for label attention." -Audio Aggresion
"Cea Serin takes elements of all those styles of Metal and instead of trying to sound like one style, they went with something new and original and dared to fuse them together in one big mass of Metal energy. Once you hear that you should be ready to take on the full assault presented by this new breed of True HEAVY Metal!" -Metal Lives.
"Cea Serin takes a multi-layered symphonic metal approach that's very impressive." -Metal Hammer
"This demo is just plain brilliant...It's deep, emotional, but not pompous or overbearing, and the (mind-boggling) technicality is not there for its own sake, but rather to serve the songs. Utterly fantastic." -Eternal Frost Webzine
"J. Lamm and Keith Warman have an incredible ability to express their feelings. Lyrics and music have the same value and walk together all the time...This duo needs your attention." -Thiago Correa-www.renegade2k.com

This edited version of "Embracing the Absence" starts in medius res to the suite. It represents the unconscious psychological impulses from a psychological perspective. Embracing includes some interesting details such as reverse singing, variety of vocal styles, compelling solo guitar work, differentiation’s in intricate musical structure, etc.. The CD version is a bit longer but has been trimmed for this site.

This song kicks off with a memorable chorus hook. It is important to note the difference in styles between what the acoustic guitars are playing as opposed to the rest of the accompaniment. "Meridian’s Tear" contains a lengthy fretless bass solo, two different chorus, a wide use of percussion, and a majority of memorable melodic moments. This is the ego and beginning of sorts. It is the self-esteem, and the self reacting to society. This is also a bit edited to what you would find on the CD.

The end of what has been culminating. This song has it all: dualing guitar/bass solos, non-stop intensity, trademark Cea Serin vocals and lyrics, and some very unusual performance art sections. There is tap dancing acting like percussion, metaphorical use of shredding paper, breaking glass and record skipping. There is also morse code towards the end, a reprise chorus from "Meridian’s Tear," and an over-the-top chorus. Expect the unknown.
