Brothers Mack and Mark Mentor, who form the
musical group, P.S. & Non-U have written and
recorded an inspirational song of love and hope
for a post 9/11 America that they hope will raise
money for the relief fund.
Their song titled “SOMEWHERE” has attracted
national media attention and has been featured on
NBC, CBS and FOX, they have also appeared as
special guests on BET’s 106 & Park 9/11 tribute
show. The New York City Mayor’s office invited
P.S. & Non-U to perform this song during one of
the memorial ceremonies the week of September 11th
;the invitation was gratefully accepted and they
performed at Union Square Park.
In 1999, as part of the group 40K Crew, they made
history by being the first musical group from
South Florida to have a song on the Billboard
charts. The group’s song was a catchy street
anthem calling out fake glock trotters called
“Cold Feet”. (Cold Feet broke at #22 on Billboard
top rap charts). Peak position on that chart was
September 4, 1999 at #14. The writers and
performers behind that song were Mack and Mark
Mentor. They are currently being shopped for
a record deal and have several offers being
negotiated.
