One day my cousin, who was very sick, came to visit us at our farm. She told me how when she gets really worried she liked to come visit us and walk among the deer and the animals who were not worrying about the future. She would find peace there. I borrowed the title from one of my favorite poems by Wendell Berry and wrote her this song.

I went into the 5th grade class one day and asked what they wanted to write about and they said "I Don't Know" so that became the title. It was sung by Cooter's Garage Band. Ben "Cooter" Jones played the mechanic on Dukes of Hazard for many years and is currently running for Congress from our district. Cooter for Congress!!!
