| A rough mix on another song headed for the studio. Indication where the JYPSYEYE sound has been heading towards. For the last few years the music has gotten closer to what it wanted to be from the start. Its just the time to peel back the barrier and have the ability come through to carry the real sonic image and conversation. Saying what you want to say is a great place to arrive at. The only obstacle is having enough money to get in the studio and get it all set up without having to leave after every song. Actually spending more time in the studio would be great. Written and Recorded August 16th,17th and 18th- 1996, Woodstocks 27 anniversary. Eddie Kramer was there recording Woodstock 1969. Hendrix's song "If Six Was Nine" echo's quietly behind the synchronycity. Jimi lived only 27 years and Kramer recorded his performance at Woodstock along with the rest of the fesival. As Jimi's chief engineer Kramer left his un-forgetable sonic approach on all Jimi's official albums.

If you have REVERB on your computer as an option, an auditorium vibe is what the final mix will head towards. Nice explosive sare and bass drum with wavy Fire and Ice Guitaring driftin' in atmosphere. |

| It has it think like 20 some different songs of mine interspersed. The Aleem Twin's; formerly known 20 years ago as "the Allen twins" Tunde Rah and Taharqa Aleem, friends/roomates/backup singers of Jimi Hendrix's got a listen to this at a Chicago Recording Industry meet and stamped it "brilliant!". Suggesting it be submitted to Hendrix Records. They were shocked to find he had already been that path two years earlier. Stefen had already submitted "Tears To God" on the relevancy of Kramer's efforts regarding the song. That connection disolved as he was dealing with Troy Wright, who was later divorced from Janie Hendrix/Wright. At that end it was pointless to even reappraoch them. Being attached to Hendrix Records could prove to be more of a burden than a help. Playing guitar driven music, associated with Hendrix Records, he would suffer the comparison factor inevitably. "He's no Jimi Hendrix". NOBODY IS! Thats the great part!
It was better to seek a label that would appreciate influences ranging from one side of the spectrum to the other. Being branded before getting of the ground was not gonna happen. Contacting Bob Hendrix, Jimi's cousin, he explained the situation to Bob and was recieved warmly. At that time the label wasnt dealing with signing people anymore. That was merely an invention of "presence" as the rights to Jimi's legacy was coming to an ambitious camp; the remaining family. The remastering of Jimi's music by Eddie Kramer was in process just after Stefen hooked up with him to do "Tears To God". This new money machine setting in with the Hendrix Family was just a matter of blue printing its sprawl. The record label was part of that. Leon Hendrix was not included in the invention of the company or its duties. Sadly, to date he is in court proceedings to get included in the Family Company. The Aleem's have signed the Petition for Leon, you should to.

I was bound to run into his playin', i was headed that direction..Stevie found his style in silvery sheened, buzzed jangly blues, rock rippin'flair.. Jimi invented it for all to swim in. Reinventing SOUND verses a way of playing a song. The imagery in stereo movement WITH the movement of the notes is mesmerizing.... what I call "the kramer effect".. Master of cinematic fender stratocasters mixed between two speakers. |
