On a recent trip from West Virginia to Georgia, I had the idea of playing some of my favorite tunes with two of my favorite people. I asked my favorite aunt, Edye, and a special friend Gerry to join me. The two people who have given me the most encouragement during the journey are sharing this special time with me. My Aunt is always my constant and best picking' partner. Gerry made it possible to use all my favorite guitar, fiddle, and banjo tunes.

We enjoyed the blessings of music and friendship as we made this recording. We hope you will enjoy sharing our experience too.

We gratefully acknowledge that the Lord has blessed us with this talent, and a desire to use it in ways that give him praise. We lovingly thank Joe, Richard and Trina for the support, encouragement and patience that they so generously give to each of us. Our families are a precious blessing.
