I put this jazz influenced song in the hip hop category because it was originally written as a rap. The song is not jazz, not blues, not folk, and not really hip hop but it draws from all four. I hate to call it pop, or even folk pop. Its its own original sound. This is one of my favorites. MP3.com doesn't think it should be called alternative hip hop so it will be in the Adult Contemporary category. |

Starts as a mellow reggae tune, turns into a fast funk (after a fashion)... |
