"anti-hero"... What is it all about? It's about music! It's about
ideas! It's about potential! anti-hero is not about being against;
anti-hero is about being for! For what? For participation! For action!
For constructive change! Basically, the idea behind "anti-hero" is
this: instead of relying on individual heros to save us, 21st century
problems can be better solved as more people become more generally
heroic. But this is philosophy.
As for music, here's what was behind the production of "anti-hero":
I'd had these songs, some were older, some more new, and I felt moved
to take advantage of the opportunity to utilize the talents and efforts
of my friends Josh Gerstner and Tim Giles in getting the songs recorded.
So, we went into Heartland Studios in Galena, Illinois and laid down
the tracks featured here. This effort was undertaken as a demo project;
however, the tracks came out sounding good enough that I am comfortable
selling the CD at $10.00 per. Still, there are several new songs in the
works. I think they are my best ever, and I am eager to record a group
of killer sounding tracks.
