Icono Music is a Puerto Rican based independent label dedicated to the promotion and distribution of indie artists under the umbrella of the term “Experimental Rock” being Psychedelic and Progressive Rock, Ambient and Noise, Electronica and Post-Rock the genres covered under this term.
It is our mission at Icono Music to become part of the ever-growing independent record industry not only on the local scene but also as part of its worldwide network.
We are firm believers that the future of music is founded on the independent scene were the truly innovative and genuine art tendencies dwell.
John Grierson said: “…art is not a mirror, it’s a hammer.” And we have hoped to adopt that quote as our motto convinced it truly reflects our mission and direction in the music industry and towards our artists as well.

Icono music es un sello independiente con bases en Puerto Rico dedicado a la promocin y distribucin de artistas indie generalizados bajo el trmino “Rock Experimental”. Dentro de los sub-gneros que abarcara este amplio termino podemos citar el Rock Progresivo, la Sicodlia, el Ambiental, el Ruido, la Electrnica y el Post-Rock. Es la misin de Icono Music el aportar esfuerzos en el desarrollo de la industria discogrfica independiente tanto en Puerto Rico como a un nivel mundial. En Icono creemos fielmente que el futuro de la msica esta cimentado en la industria de las discogrficas independientes siendo las mismas la nica fuente de nuevos y genuinos sonidos as como tendencias musicales.
John Grierson dijo que “...el arte no es un espejo, es un martillo” y hemos querido adoptar esta cita como motivo de nuestra compaa pues estamos convencidos refleja la visin y el curso que Icono Music desea tomar con respecto a sus artistas y realizaciones.
