You are offered the option to purchase the beat and have exclusive rights therefor YOU own the beat and it Can not and will not be resold to anyone. Your other available option is Leasing. In order to lease a beat you pay the leasing price and you can use it for freestyles, demos, or your album. However you must realize that the beat CAN be sold for exclusive rights to another person.

For Exclusive rights you pay $250 - $400 PER BEAT. However buying Exclusive rights means you own the beat and it will not be resold.
For Leasing Rights you pay a flat fee of $100 PER BEAT.
