ensamble from Hamburg is centered around Anima Legato (voc/guit/samples) and Gaude
Hiller (key), who have been producing their music together. Oscillating somewhere
between Bulk Branes and Punk, none of the common categories can be applied to
the musical style of DAS BECKEN.DE. With their passion for experiments and unfailing
good taste DAS BECKEN.DE fill a black hole of the musical cosmos. Recently, for
instance, they have cooperated with musicians from Rome on an organ-project in
churches, bearing the title "Genes Are Floatable", the influence of
which cannot be overheard in their latest production.
