Ms Bennie R. Marshall was born in Thomaston Georgia, as a child her family moved to
Ventura California. Bennie sang in her first female group at the age of six
years old with her older sister Yvonne Marshall and best friend Nancy Oliver. Bennie began
to write poems and stories at the age of 13. By the time she entered middle school she started
putting her poems to music. During her high school years, she attended a school for
students with hidden talent.
Bennie graduated from Ventura High School in 1977. she had a passionate love for singing Gospel music
at her hometown church. Bennie became the mother of four children at a yourng age. Bennie crated her first song
"Going all the way" with Mikal Patterson. she taught her kids as well as other children to sing her gospel music.
Her teachings were the beginning of "The Younger Voices of God Children's Choir.
The youth choir performed several gospel workshops thought out California cities i.e.
Ventura, Oxnard, Los Angeles, and Sacramento, CA. Bennie performed gospel
workshops in Atlanta, GA. and East St. Louis Ill. as well.
In 2001 Ms Bennie moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. She brought a demo album containing
only six gospel tracks. After September 11th, Bennie rewrote her best song
"Save Me"; Eric "Smidi" Smith of "Smidi Productions" listened to her music. Eric really liked the material so he
reproduced the entire project. Bennie now has a Gospel CD that will touch many hearts,
