Perhaps the most famous piece of Tchaikovsky's ever,
the Flower Waltz is the grand finale of his Nutcracker ballet.
Winds, strings and horns each play their part to evoke the
air of a great ball at a prince's court.
Performed live on July 1st, 2000 by Paulus Orchester of Stuttgart,
Germany under director V. Stoertzenbach.
If you mean to hear children's voices and even clapping
in the recording: children in the audience were invited to participate by parading
around the orchestra at the finale of this family concert |
