Once upon a time there were three little punkers
who decided to start a punk rock band... the
result being "Dammit".
Jacques (guitarist) and Divan
(Drummer) were friends since 1996. In 1997 they got some
instruments and decided to form a band called
"Alcolin" with some other friends. Alcolin split
up leaving Jacques and Divan without a bass
player. Kruger (one of their skating friends)
bought himself a bass. The strange thing was
that it was the bass guitar from Alcolin. After
he had the bass for only a week he joined
Jacques and Divan for some practice sessions at
Divan's house.
Before you can say "punk rock band" they were
writing their own songs and playing them... (ha
ha ha). Since then they have been playing small
gigs like at schools and clubs with other punk
rock bands.
