The title track to our latest CD. Super-smooth jazz grooves with wonderfully melodic lead lines (well, I am a little biased…….). We feel that this song conveys the basic idea of what Postmodern Blues is all about. |

As well as being our namesake, this tune was also originally recorded for the "Dragonfly Mile" CD. This update includes superb percussion work performed by Australia's Justin Humphries. |

Light Brazilian-jazz feel with acoustic classical guitar and flute lead lines. Lands you smack-dab in the middle of your favorite tropical island - You can almost taste the sea-spray. |

Super R&B / Jazz mix at it's finest. It took us quite a while to find the right vocalist, but Navasha Dya (of Baltimore-based "Fertile Ground") finally hit the mark. She is a very popular local artist, and we are glad she lent a hand (well, voice). Sax work was contributed by Jaared Arosemena (courtesy of Marimelj Entertainment/Warner Bros.), another accomplished DC artist with an exceptionally well developed sound and style. |

Bordering on Fusion, this piece really let us stretch out a bit – complicated rhythms and chord structure, with a good solid lead line . Incredible sax work was performed by Chris Vadala, a Washington DC artists of critical acclaim. One of the few tunes that I play fretless bass on. |

One of my personal favorites. Originally recorded for the “Dragonfly Mile” CD, we loved this tune so much that we re-recorded it for this CD. Fantastic smooth-jazz feel with guitar, keyboard, and sax lead lines / solos. Mike Wolf (local DC artist) provided the intro sax while Kendal Leonard (also Washington, DC) plays sax on the rest of this tune. Justin Humphries (Australia) performed the super-tight drum work. |

Sort of “Tuck and Patty”, without Patty. Very laid-back, open guitar and bass (only) tune, with a nice smooth-jazz feel. |

One of our more “Fusion” oriented pieces. Strong rhythm section with guitar and sax doubled lead lines. Sax was performed by Peggy Morris (once again, of Morris Code fame). Nice, tight groove with a great solo section. |
