Lintie's New CD Is Now Available !
|
We're
pleased to announce that we have completed our 12-track demo CD.
It was conceived as a promotional piece, but enough people expressed interest
that we thought it worthwhile to offer it to anyone who wants it! The CD
is entirely a cappella, with the bulk of the tracks by Lintie, plus two additional
solo tracks each from Kim and Christa. Click
here to go to a page on our web site with ordering information. (Please
note that many of the tracks overlap those available through www.mp3.com.)
Cost is $10 plus shipping.
We'd
also like to say thank you! to everyone who came out to hear Lintie
perform with Alasdair Fraser and the San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers.
The response was gratifying, and we're extremely grateful both to Alasdair
and the SFSF for the opportunity and the experience.
For
information on future Lintie gigs, as well as photos, reviews, bios and
more, please visit our home site at www.lintie.com.

A haunting ballad recounting the grief and helplessness of a woman who has lost her man to the fickle sea, a fate all too common in fishing communities. Christa learned this one from the singing of Andy M. Stewart. |
