'Watching From Afar' was the first Porcelain Frogs album
with the young drummer Jason Cutsforth. It also had the
talents of bassist/singer Jeremy Johnson. These two, combined
with the imaginations and skills of Josiah, Josh and Seth
combined to make a very ecclectic and musical album. It spans
blues, rock, coffee-house folk, Celtic jigs and experimental
pop. It also has a hidden track featuring the vocals of
long-time Porcelain Frogs guest artist, Zach Peterson, on his
vocal and compositional debut with the Porcelain Frogs.
Jeremy Johnson sang lead on one song ('Certainty'), Seth sang
lead vocals on 'Geek', and Josiah played rhythm guitar on
'Certainty'. With the release of this album, the future sound
and variety of PF was set.
