Right from the outset I knew this was going to be an interesting listen! Twelve Gauge Noise sounds sort of like a cross between a modern day alt. rock band, and a 70's art rock/glam band. Very good sound. "Eyes of Red" Very good vocals on this song. They have a unique sound, and together with the other musicians, it all makes for an excellent tune. Love the speed and tempo changes throughout. "Broken Lives" A faster song in general. For some reason it makes me think of Lou Reed on speed. "Anothersinner" Maybe it is T.Rex, or The Doors, that these guys remind me of. Either way (who wouldn't love being compared to either) Twelve Gauge Noise is an interesting listen and entertaining listen. One other thing. I think these guys are the perfect example of what is wrong with mp3.com. These guys have only had 50 freaking plays?? That's rediculous. This band is way better than some of the bands on there that have ten times the number of listens. That whole system is crap and has nothing to do with sound quality. It's all for the music. - Derrick

Hi.... Took a listen to some of your songs. Nice changes in pace of songs... Great vocalist who seems able to switch between IGGY POP sounding and more gutteral... Interesting sound-and I'm really pleased to hear this type of energy without the usual super-distorted guitars which is often a turn off for me and can be a bit lazy(i think)...I liked the first 2 but the track that really grabbed me was TRAGIC. The 'Lonely People' chorus really took me by suprise and was a genuine creative SURPRISE. I bet you were pleased when you wrote that! A sense of Nirvana in this-and kept me engaged all the way through. With that kind of track you start putting yourself ahead of the competition. The key is ALWAYS in the songwriting. Too many bands don't want to work hard enough there and let their chord changes and melodies become ordinary and cliched.... It's not easy to write great songs and takes inspiration and effort(whatever style you work in) OK I'll get off my soapbox now! - Steve Ison

12 Gauge Noise- I listened to Tragic first and I loved the begining and all in all it was really good. The only thing I would have liked to hear was the fact that to me the song was building itself up for something big to explode during the song, but still good. Eyes of Red is so much of a different sound to what you hear in rock today, a couple of minutes into the song it changes it's pace and the sound of it is so much different than what I mostly hear, and pretty neat. The vocals took a bit to get used to but remind me a bit of Josey Scott. Good stuff. - Jake

Nice mellow intro, vox sounds good, damn, whatever the drummers's doin sounds cool! I like the whole melody of this tune! I don't what else to say, you guys rock! Keep it up and peace! - Fantazmikfour

I like Wishing Well the best out of the whole set of tunes. I liked what you did with the vocals. Song structures are unique throughout. That is both good and bad depending on what you are shooting for. For marketability I would suggest more well defined structures with distinct Verse, Chorus, and Bridge sections. Some tempo issues here and there (classic loud=fast, quiet=slow). I am guilty of doing that as the drummer in our band as well. I have found I can get away with a little of that live because it is lost in the moment, but I try to lock it down for the recording. People analyze the recordings. Good overall rock power. Lots of energy.

Good job, I like the guitar work. You have your own sound and that's great. Keep it up. -larry@Luppen.com

Ya'll sound is versatile. The vocals flow wit' the groove also. Keep bangin!

Thanks for another review guys. Listening to Broken Lives, it's not hard to see that this is pretty good material you've come up with here. The strong point in my opinion, would be your vocalist, He's got charisma! Work on your vocals just a bit. But mostly it's quite good. The Rhythm structure is pretty groovin dudes, But, So god damn dirty sounding, It's not untidy, but there seems to be a lot of background noise in this tune, again maybe to over distorted on bass or guitar. You guys Know. Thanks again Brothers. Keep crankin it up. - Chad Sloan/LIONSGATE

Woohhoo...... 'Wishing Well' had a kick-butt start off. Great guitar sound all over allthough tends to run away to quickly but hell so what...Vocals sounded like Iggy Pop screaming through a megaphone.Nice break at 1:05. 'Anothersinner' This is deff Iggy Pop singing here with the old 'Sisters of Mercy'-kind-of-band behind him.Love the guitar structure in the beginning. Didn't like the break cause it reminded me of late 70's hardrock but hell then it kicked back in. Power all over the place. 'Eyes of Red' Glad to hear the bass playing now for once in front :) I thought he was a bit way back in the prev ones. This is really totally something diffrent. Great drum section, awesome guitar swings in the beginning and then changing the mood again. Nice job. By far now my fav track. 'Broken Lives' Velvet Underground-mood in the beginning. It's kind of old hardrock in a modern jacket. Sometimes 'Golden Earing' and then it's kind of 'Rush'.Specially the solo guitar made me think about Top-100 music. 'Tragic' is more kind of a 'faith no More' sound with a touch of 'Stone Temple Pilots'. It's a slow easy going on song. With a raw emotional vocal going with it. Loved the chorus. 'Same shit...' speeds up again the place and is like all previous songs nice work. End conclusion : welcome to my group of fav bands. Superb work. To bad it's a rehearsal-room recording. Deff need to get a real sudio recording and it would sound even more top ... Big two-thumbs up guys. noxqs.iuma.com

Robert Klein's review= After listening to ALL of your songs I have come to the conclusion that you guys have become my new favorite band! Even though your recordings were not made in a studio, they all have a raw energy to them and your singer seems to have a gift that not too many artist out there have. It would seem fit that any major record label should pick you guys up and unleash your full potential! Thank you for writing such great music! P.S. The lyrics were poetic

    Thanx for listening everybody!
