Marx has been very busy experimenting on some new sounds, some new techniques and some new rhythm base. It's been a while, but yes it is about time, for Marx to bring something new to the table. By the end of 2003, there will be a full new cd released to all to enjoy. Don't expect to hear the same thing all over again because Marx doesn't care what everyone else wants to hear, no, he just wants to have a little fun.
Just so you all don't forget, "rhythm base" is music primarily based around the rhythm. Some of it may just sound like hip hop or dance music, and that's ok if you think that. All of those styles are based on rhythm too. But some of this music is a little different from other sounds you've heard . You've never heard rhythm put into music like this. You don't know what to call it? Marx calls it "rhythm base". Marx is not claiming to have invented a whole new genre, but a new subgenre. Not all of the music you will find here represents rhythm base. No, It's just simple dance, hip hop or electronica.
If you want to get to know Marx a little bit better, here's an interview for an Ezine that'll help you out. Check it out at Latch Music........

Once again, this is something new for most people. Feel free to share this with your friends and your enemies. You have two hands, one for taking and one for giving!
p.s. Have something to say? Tell Marx what you think of this music. Whether positive or negative, it all makes the rhythm base grow.

This is definitely a favorite. It's the greatest example of the "Rhythm Base" movement. If anyone's familiar with drum corps they'll appreciate this one. |

This is a song to bring to you complete mental peace and at the same time, not bore you to death. Picture yourself on a beach hanging out with a couple guys on the strings on your side. These are a couple of minutes to be completely "careless". |
