It started with a Monty Python joke and two people (Krystal and Evan) that thought it was funny.
And so, born out of the chaos and the pathos of the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, Krystal Bradshaw and Evan Harris wrote songs full of pain, misery, humor, and really cool special effects. These songs were placed in a sequential order on an album. A compact disc to be exact...A..."record," if you will.
This album, called The Spanish Inquisition, was a long, arduous journey full of late-night demos with scratchy, sleep-driven vocals. Eventually the songs were properly recorded and were made wonderful. Whole. Polished and complete within the universe that had been created for them by the great Frog Princess.
