Moir is the ultimate form of expression when there are no
words left, as well as the result of late nights and a lot of inspiration.
I don´t have a band yet, so I play all the instruments myself
for now.

Currently
producing 5 new tracks in my studio, and as a new year present I
uploaded two brand new tracks for you all to enjoy. My track “Drifter
on the FM" is currently listed as #4 on the jazz chart. Very
nice. Happy New Year!

Hi!
My new tracks where just approved and ready do be downloaded or
streamed. This time I experimented a lot. (Maybe not that much,
but at least some). In the track 'As I' I was only using the NordLead2.
That shows that the instruments itself are amazing for it’s
sounds and dynamics. On the 'esteroj' some electric guitars are
used. I am against that, but hey, why not give it a try. That song
is co written by Erik Wedin.

Hi everyone, I updated (as you now
can see) the design on my page here. Hope you all like it. Have
a listen tom my new tracks "A nice evening" and "My
great mojothing”. Shortly I will collect material for a brand
new cd that of course will be available here for you all to enjoy.
The style is somewhat different now; I have to try some ideas now
and then. Sometimes it turns out well, and sometimes it’s
not.

Long time no see; I’ve been busy for
a little while. But now I am back again with fresh ideas and new
inspiration. I made a test recording yesterday on one of my new
tracks "Oyster bar". It turned out well, but I am not
satisfied with the tempo, witch means that I have to do it all over
again. If it was electronic and midi it would be easy, but not in
my case. I guess that that is the charm of it. A genuine work needs
a little more time...

A groove tonic, an urge to submerge, fall asleep, take a nap, hit the floor, drink some water, take a bath. Starts with a very laid back beat and a very moody analogue sound (Took me a serious amount of valuable time to produce on my NordLead2..But it eventually paid of big time. Sounds like an old organ of some sort). Then a short brake before the bridge onto a more consistent beat. I like it when the sounds cape develops quite slowly towards the complete image that I had in mind from the beginning. The result is some sort of Groove ala Armada or whatever you think. I wrote this to a very special person as a lullaby. |

This track is really me. Very fast production here. Wrote, and recorded this one, and the track "even" at the same night. I was a little doubtful at the mix and master session but it turned out well. I use some of my home-made patches for my NordModular here. The sound is rather big at the choruses, but I felt that this was appropriate in this particular track. It builds up so much in the end that I just had to fatten it up as much as I could. I hope you will like it. I wrote this track for a special person.

Starts out with piano and double bass, adding leads and ambient sounds later in the song.
The real challenge here was to get the right feel to the piano. I tried many mics and set-ups before I finally got it (not exactly but almost). I wanted a close-up feel without any unwanted mud effects. Now afterwards a realize that one osc on my NL2 was slightly out of tuneā¦ but it works anyway(?)

Some piano and rhodes groove. I must say that I am very pleased with the sound on this one. The piano, drums and the fender rhodes get along quite well here. The idea was to create a simple groove with a lot of dimension and space. |

(20021231 - this track is #4 at garageband.com, and yes, I am proud of that..)
This is (again) a track with fender Rhodes and wurlizer. It was very fun recording this one because of the many different ideas I had for the bass line. Finally I choose this one.

This track actually has vocals in it... that is not that common for me, but sometimes it is good to do something else do gain up the inspiration and to get new ideas. This was not supposed to be that mellow as the result turned out to be, but that happens all the time for me. Not that I am a sad person, I just think that it is beautiful somehow. If you are a composer that writes music for your own sake, then you do not have any expectations to live up to, the music truly comes from your soul. |

A very intricate drum arrangement and soundscape for you all to enjoy. "If it“s analogue, then I like it". This one, as many of my tracks starts out quite minimalistic, and then merges into the full picture. |
