"a great artist producing highly creative experimental stuff"
BeOSRADIO
"we loved your CD"LUVeR Radio
It's Not Dance Music has developed out of the lifelong desire to craft music that was not
unpleasant to my senses, and to do so without having the ability to play an instrument.
Technology has finally advanced to the point that a person such as myself can put bits of sounds together, that when played as a whole are somewhat pleasing if your into this kind of music.
I have chosen to express myself in this medium as I enjoy new and expressive music.
The works of Laurie Anderson, Pink Floyd, Art of Noise, Kraftwerk, Kate Bush, The Residents, Dead Can Dance, Sheila Chandra, Ashwin Batish, Brian Eno and so many more.
Why put my work into the public? The one thing that comes to mind for me is the memory of hearing a strange but likable cut on a late night radio show (wxpn), after the cut the dj said that the maker of that cut was talking to the
generations to come, as it was made in the past.
I always thought that I would like to make something that may someday be heard and enjoyed by someone I will never know.
Peace
Rob

Came accross a sound clip of John Fitzgerald Kennedy's Inaugural Address. Wanted to use one of his most famous lines. Gave it a beat. JFK has entered the club. | MP3.com CD: It' Not Dance Music Vol-1 - buy it!

As a child I remember looking up at the stars and trying to comprehend how large the universe really was. This piece tries to convey that vastness. | MP3.com CD: It' Not Dance Music Vol-1 - buy it!
