I recently found the tape this recording comes from lying in the bottom of a box so I thought I'd take it out and dust it down. Suddenly a wave of nostalgia overcame me and I thought I ought to put up this retrospective page. This is the only recording of Funky Widget as far as I'm aware and it was recorded live on Halloween at the Railway Tavern in South Lynn, Norfolk (can't remember the year - sometime in the early 90s). The quality of the original recording was poor (recorded with two mics hanging from the ceiling as I recall). I've digitally "re-mastered" it as best I can so at least it's listeneable - Matt.
If there's anyone out there who remembers us, get in touch. But most importantly, Woggle, Aidy, Jason - where the hell are you?
