This song was orginally an instrumental & has been at Electronicscene under Red Karma artist name. Christine Morgan heard it, wrote some words and then recorded the vocal parts. So 2nd collaboration from us here:) Very moody style even for me and i think the vocals really fit and accentuate the darkness of the music. |

A funky but laidback beat with acid riffs and swirling, airy synth pads. Also includes words from a lecture dealing with the subject of emotions and how we deal with them. Cool track with an ecclectic style (as usual;-)). Enjoy. |

O.k. exactly same song & mix as original "Tastebud", except for guitar licks by your's truly;-) Now i'm not totally happy with the guitar but this is due to limitations in my setup. I had to get it right in 1 single take?? So you're gonna hear the odd duff note now and then, sorry. I do like the addition of the guitar to this song though and think it fits. Would you believe that this track runs at 140 bpm?? It sure does'nt feel like it? Mmmmmmmm.......

Very relaxing and dreamy song here with lovely harp melodies. In case you had'nt noticed i love the harp as an instrument:) (check out Red Karma or Brillman for more songs with harp). Deep dry bass with dirty breakbeat type beats and soft EP chords, lots of different chord progressions and song changes also. Made this a while back and will be uploading a guitar mix (yeah me on guitar) when i get the recording right so keep an open for that one soon. |

A brand new song that is Minimal Techno:) Make sure you get past the first couple of minutes coz it gets into a nice groove. Slow morph also as the track builds and changes it's mood. This track has already been at my Brillman page at electronicscene, where you can find a total of 29 other tracks by me. Also better quality=bit rate there, i.e. 160kbits/s or better ! The link is above or click the electronscene banner and go to Techno gengre. |

Real energetic, uplifting groove with a definite Jazz feel to it, especially the short EP solo and the Bass sound. Difficult to catagorize so if you know where this belongs e-mail me or tell me in my guestbook. For the time being it's going in the Acid Jazz department but it's maybe to fast for this gengre as it's 120bpm if i remember rightly. |

This is my absolute favourite version of this track (2 more versions of "Peoplegroove" below). Had a hard time deciding what gengre it fits??? IDM? No! Acid? No! Electronica? No! Detroit? No! Experimental? No! Techno? Maybe! Intelligent Techno? Yes!
And for those of you wondering, war mix means that to my ears it sounds like a marching army off to kill some more people (vivid imagination i know), which is also accentuated by the ever increasing aggressiveness of the Acid lines. Have a listen, different. Peace:-)

This one has been lying around for a long time, just recently started to remake & remix it and ended up with 3 versions that i like; they are this one, "Peoplegroove V" and "Peoplegroove (war mix)". It was very diffucult to categorize the songs, especially (war mix).
Anyway Funky beats, Deep Deep bass, distorted 303 licks, FX, breaks etc, etc, etc. Have a listen. PLAY LOUD!! |

Difficult one to describe, starts out all ambient like with a Jazzybass line then a break changes the beat, giving it a more Funk feel. Has definitely jazz elements to it so i nearly put it in that gengre. (Feels very peaceful though, good to lounge too, hence my previous gengre choice.) Just now received an e-mail from the artist Kyril Garcia, who's here on mp3.com. He says this track and "Fuzzy Logic" is Detroit, so i'm gonna go with what he says and put it there. Here´s a remix of Mikey J.´s original track with the same name. You can find this artist at: http://www.mp3.com/mikeyj
The artist has´nt heard my version yet so your guess is as good as mine if he likes it? I personally think it´s a bit weird and i'm not sure i like it even?! Oh well, it was fun having a go at it. Pretty much the whole song is a retake as the rules were to use 2/4 samples in the song. I don´t think old Mikey is gonna recognize this version! |

A song that starts off with hysterical beats which are actually 5 layers of non sampled, sequensed rymthms. The synths come in and a couple of voice samples (which i rarely use these days)join in the fun. About half way there´s a break with just drums & a mad bass until the song then changes into more of a Jungle style. This song was composed in the beginning of 2000. I still like it, though it´s not one of my favourites. Hope you enjoy! |

Very dark techno/house, not sure where you draw the line between the two styles.
Starts with the beat and slowly builds up
till about the middle of the song when it suddenly changes quite radically.

Song was made to put you to sleep!? I really love this one, while i was recording it i used to get really tired and drowsy so i suppose i've suceeded?
The bass is what makes this song relaxing and the chord structure is a bit different as it changes every 7 and then every 8 bars. A beautiful piece of music to listen/relax to. |
