(october 5) hey everyone! i know, i've been bad...kind of forgot to update this site for a while. i've been living in narragansett ri, in a little house by the beach, and well, time flies here! but i'm getting ready to head to san diego in about a week, and honestly couldn't be more excited! we'll be living in a house in la jolla, and i'll finally have the opportunity to get all my recording equipment up and running again (that means i'll be posting more songs)! between that, and trying to get a band started, i'm sure i'll be quite busy...so expect to hear from me soon. muhahaha. and any musicians in san diego who check out this site and like what you hear...email me!!! |

I'm very excited to announce that I'll be living in San Sebastian, Spain for two months this summer (June and July). It's the most beautiful place I've ever been, and I can't wait to get back. Unfortunately, that means I have to leave my apartment in Providence, which I have converted into a nice mini-recording studio. So this will be the last song I'll post for a few months, at least! Then, in September, I'm driving cross-country with my friend Eamon and setting up shop in San Diego, California. I'm planning on starting a band once I get there, so spread the word!! I've also updated the website a bit, with lyrics for most (all?) of my songs. Enjoy, and I'll make sure to update you guys from Spain if I can... |

I've decided I need to stop being such a perfectionist, and just record some more demo songs...so here ya go. This song is about not being afraid of the truth. |

I've been lazy about recording lately (it's been too nice outside for that), so i've dug this one up from the basement tapes (circa 2001). hopefully beethoven won't be too offended by my version... |

The latest track for my as-yet-untitled 2nd CD. I think I'm going to post the songs one at a time until I have 12 or so together. Then I can make a real CD, with artwork and everything. I don't know why I get a kick out of making this stuff, I just do... |

And I'll be
Kicking myself for my big ideas
And I'll be
Chasing away your crocodile tears
And I'll be
Knowing you're wrong, but maybe I'm right
And I'll be
Waving goodbye to your shadow
Tonight

Some people have a hard time falling asleep. For me, that's easy--the hard part is getting out of bed in the morning. In fact, it's probably the toughest part of my day! So this song is my "ode to sleep." |

Hey Hey is a song about the ideals we force upon others, as well as the compromises we are forced to make in our own lives. A morally confused protest song. |

This is a song about being with someone you love, throwing your stuff in a backpack and getting away from everything for a while. If you've found the right person, there's nothing like it in the world. |
