Welcome! Michael Vincent is a composer and classical guitarist living and working in the diverse city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He explores numerous realms of musical perception from abstract electroacoustics, to solo classical and modern ensemble works. Michael is also no stranger to classical guitar performance and takes every opportunity to dazzle an audience with his virtuosic abilities. He has been a member of the Victoria Guitar Orchestra, of numerous other guitar ensembles, and has had many solo performance engagements; all of which he utterly enjoys. Heres what he has to say, I have always loved performing as it is in effect an ongoing study of the relationship between music and the audience, which is always extremely provocative and interesting. Michael is currently completing a BFA degree in Music Theory and Composition at Concordia University. He plans on furthering his music studies at the graduate level in 2004.
