Hey guys, my name is Dave, and I'm a Toronto guitar player
trying to get out there. I have been playing guitar since I was
about 6 years old. I started with the essentials:Randy Rhoads, EVH,
and then moved up to practicing guys like Vai, Satriani, Bettencourt,
and Petrucci. Please check out this litte showcase I've posted.

| I was rehearsing this tune, so I flicked on the recorder, and decided to cut the track! Satriani rules! This song in particular is one that I have always wanted to hear him play live, and rumor has it, he will be doing it soon. This version is my rendition, pretty much recorded in one take (maybe 2, don't recall), so some parts could have been done alot better, but eh! Time is so hard to come by these days. I didn't play the background tracks on this one. Just the lead guitar parts.
Of course, u can find the original recording of this tune on Joe Satriani's "Surfing with the Alien" LP, a sheer masterpiece. I highly recommend that u pick that up (Most of u who are at this page, probably already own it)! :) No need to say that this recording is just for fun, and that I don't make any money off it. Its just an artist showcase. Anyway, I'm out for now, I hope u enjoy the piece. |
