Hey folks, i know it's been long since the last time
you've seen news from us. Well, we've got quite a bit
to tell you about. A few weeks ago, againsttheodds
had split ways with our former drummer Mike Thone.
It was tough to say in the least, and we wish him the
best of luck. Anyone from the Rochester area should
check out his new band Pack of Vipers, who have quite
a few shows coming up in the next couple of months.
They are amazing. Our drummer situation is kind of up
in the air. We have a certain individual who is currently
trying out and we're pretty excited about him. But, we're
gonna keep this piece of information under wraps until it
is definite.
More news...the band is going through this whole "rebirth"
phase, so to speak. And with these changes, we are also
changing the name of the band. Againsttheodds will from now
on be known as Cut Like Knives. A new website and mp3 page will be set up soon.
Once we get things going, we're still going to be recording a
full length cd for Evergreen Records, due to be out
Spring-Summer 2003. A three song demo will be recorded
to give people a glimpse of what the new cd is going to sound like,
which we'll give away at our shows when we start playing again.
Don't worry, we're still playing the same old screamo deal
as before. To say in the least, we're extremely excited for the next year.
